The active use of food-grade plastic has created a need for improving the manufacturing process. Containers of various volumes – from 0.5 to 10 liters – are made from polymer preforms.

The PCO 1881 18.9-gram preform is a plastic flask designed for blowing a bottle with a capacity of 0.5 liters. This is a popular volume for bottling beverages – water, beer, kvass, milk, and dairy products. In everyday use, small containers with household chemicals are convenient – fabric softeners, window or dishwashing liquids.

Product Specifications

The 18.9/28 preform is a plastic flask weighing 18.9 (+-0.2 g). It is made from thermoplastic polyester. A lightweight, durable, and health-safe material with excellent operational characteristics. The model complies with the PCO 1881 standard. These are designs with a low neck and standard threading. As a result, it is possible to reduce the weight of the neck. Lighter lids can be used. This allows for a reduction in the consumption of polyethylene terephthalate, thereby reducing costs.

Working with Custom Orders

Preforms for plastic bottles of the 18.9 g category by default assume coloring in an opaque white color. Being manufacturers, the Preform Factory offers the option to choose the shade and transparency level of the flask. The price of the forms depends on the volume of supply, whether the preforms are made to standard or individual parameters.
